Student Portal
The Student Portal provides students with a dedicated interface to view their academic information, fees, assignments, notes, and school communications — without requiring access to the full administration panel.
Note
Access to the Student Portal requires a Student user account. See Adding a New User for instructions on creating student accounts.
The Student Portal is accessed at /studentportal on your sERP installation.
Dashboard
The Student Portal dashboard provides a personal overview including:
Outstanding fees balance for the current term
Recent academic activity
Quick links to key sections
Fees & Billing
Navigate to Finance > Fees to view the current term’s fees. This shows:
Itemised bill
Amount paid
Outstanding balance
Any arrears from previous terms
Viewing a Bill
Click View Bill to open a printable version of the current term’s bill.
Fee Payment History
Navigate to Finance > Payment History to see a record of all payments made across all terms.
Online Payment
If online payments are enabled by the school, a Pay Now option is available. See finance_online_payment for details.
Attendance
Navigate to Attendance to view a personal attendance record for the current term, including:
Total school days
Days present and absent
Attendance percentage
A chart provides a visual breakdown of attendance over time.
Assignments
Navigate to Assignments to view all assignments set for the student’s class. Each assignment shows:
Subject
Title and description
Due date
Grade and remarks (once marked by the teacher)
Students can also submit assignment work where online submission is supported.
Study Notes
Navigate to Notes to access study notes and materials uploaded by teachers. Notes can be downloaded for offline reading.
Timetable
Navigate to Timetable to view the class timetable for the current term, showing scheduled subjects, teachers, and periods.
Progress Reports
Navigate to Progress Reports to view and download personal terminal (end-of-term) reports. Reports become available once published by the school administration.
Communication
Students can participate in school communication features from the portal:
Messages: send and receive direct messages with staff via Communication > Messages
Forums: participate in class and school discussion forums via Communication > Forums

Access to messaging requires the corresponding communication roles to be assigned by the school administrator. See Messages for details.
